We started raising registered Texas Longhorns in 1992 with a goal in mind -big horned, competitive show cattle. This takes genetics for horn, color, conformation, luck and many years of trial and error .
Our original herd sire was JMC Phenomenal Archie (over 60" of horn). Phenomenon x Archer 77. We retained many of his big horned heifers. We believe Jet Jockey was one of the pieces to the genetic puzzle and utilized him heavily through A.I. and through our herd sire, Turbo Jet. Jet Jockey x D bar S Dominique (a Widespread daughter). We then included Bail Jumper, Emperor, WR and now have added Sunrise Sorillo as our Junior Herdsire. We run approximately 85 cows and 160 head of cattle.
